Arrive in Cooktown after a short flight and your driver-guide will meet you at the Airport. The first stop is Grassy Hill Lookout; offering panoramic views of Cooktown, the Endeavour River and the Coral Sea. Then enjoy a guided walk of the esplanade and its many points of interest before free time to explore yourself.
After free time for yourself, meet your driver-guide at the designated time to further explore this historic town. Visit the Heritage Listed Cooktown Cemetery, the James Cook Museum and Cooktown's Botanic Gardens which opened in 1878.

Depart Cooktown for the journey home travelling via the Mulligan Highway through the outback. Stop briefly at Black Mountain, Byerstown Range Lookout and the Palmer River Roadhouse. The outback landscape is dotted with termite mounds and various eucalypt species. Keep an eye out for livestock that graze along the roadside before we return you to your accommodation.
