Melbourne Snow Trip To Lake Mountain With Chocolates Visit To A Waterfall

After early morning pickup at your centrally located Melbourne hotel, board your comfortable minivan for the 90min journey to Lake Mountain.

Cross over the scenic Black Spur mountain pass to arrive at Lake Mountain by midmorning. Your guide orients you to the Lake Mountain resort, which includes more than 23 miles (37 km) of cross-country ski trails, several toboggan slopes and snow play areas. At the resort’s shop, you can rent or purchase gear such as toboggans, cross-country ski equipment, snowsuits and boots.

Enjoy 3 hours of free time to frolic in the snow. During your visit, choose from optional activities (own expense) such as visiting the toboggan park, ziplining and cross-country ski lessons, or just simply enjoy a good old-fashioned snowball fight. When it's time for lunch, purchase a meal at the resort’s cafe. In the early afternoon, depart for Steavenson Waterfalls with your guide. An easy round-trip walk to a viewing platform offers great photo ops of Steavenson’s five cascades, which drop a total of 400 feet (122 meters).
