The Road to Barangaroo is a self-guided walking tour, with eleven stops from Circular Quay, through Walsh Bay to the new development at Barangaroo. It takes around 1.5 hours to complete.
The app gives you fascinating insights into how Sydney's CBD waterfront was developed and reshaped over 200 years as you visit points of historical significance. At each stop, you simply tap your phone to read an overview of the area's history, see photos from the past, and hear an STC actor read revealing excerpts from diaries, letters and newspapers of the period.
